I was born in Frankfurt Germany, and my family migrated to the United States in the 1980’s.  After earning a B.S. degree in Interior Design from Florida State University in 2012.  I then continued my education and earned a M.A. in furniture design at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Ever since I can remember, I have loved design.  Even as a child I loved the minimalist modernist aesthetic and sheer quality of the design that surrounded me.  Germany was a fascinating blend of ancient historical artifacts, many dating back to Roman times, and stark, edgy modernism.  This historical environment created a dramatic contrast to the modernist design that has been my key influence.  In the United States I was equally drawn to mid century modern, which seemed to me to continue a sort of design evolution started by modernism.  My desire is to continue this evolutionary journey to discover where it will lead.
